Why a Pre-Purchase Inspection Pays for Itself in San Antonio

Paint overspray on door jambs, mismatched panel gaps, and undercoating over welds are all accident indicators that CarFax won't catch.

Fluid condition tells a story: dark brown, gritty transmission fluid in a "well-maintained" vehicle means the transmission has been neglected for 60,000+ miles. Milky coolant means a head gasket leak. Sludged oil means infrequent changes. These are negotiating points — or walk-away signals.

The Scan Every Seller Hopes You Skip

Most buyers never scan the airbag module. A deployed airbag that was "repaired" cheaply often leaves the SRS light disabled — the sensor is present but the airbag canister behind the steering wheel is empty or stuffed with foam.
