AC Repair in Alamo Heights
Alamo Heights is an independent city wrapped around Broadway, North New Braunfels Avenue and Austin Highway, and many of its homes date from the early and middle twentieth century with single-car garages or no garage at all. A car that lives outside under the oaks collects leaves and pollen in the cowl, the area at the base of the windshield where the cabin air intake sits.
Weak Airflow Is Often the First Sign
When debris blocks the cabin air intake or the cabin filter, the blower moves less air and the vents feel weak even if the refrigerant side is fine. We check the cowl and filter, then the blower motor and its resistor, and only then the compressor and pressures. Fixing airflow first sometimes solves the complaint for a fraction of the cost.
What It Costs
Starting at $149 (recharge) to $850+ (compressor). Written quote before any repair.
